Pedagogical practice

The Faculty of Education of J. Selye University has been building a system of training schools for a long time, which are extremely important for the practical training of future teachers. In addition to primary schools and grammar schools, kindergartens from all over Slovakia are also part of the system of training schools, which serve as professional places of pedagogical practice for our students. The Faculty of Education currently cooperates with more than forty training schools in Slovakia. There are training schools not only in Komárno, but also in Dunajská Streda, Veľký Meder, Galanta, Nové Zámky, Rožňava, Kráľovský Chlmec, Bratislava, Šahy, Štúrovo, Veľké Kapušany, Kolárovo and Rimavská Sobota. Within the pedagogical practice, students observe and analyse the educational process, learn to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the study of general-educational subjects, general and branch didactics and gradually acquire the pedagogical skills necessary for the performance of the teaching profession.
